The wedding was held this past weekend at Hotel Esencia in Xpu Há, Mexico. “We spent February 2024 in Mexico and fell in love with the chic, low-key hotel,” Nicole explains. “The first time I set foot on their jungle paths that led straight out to the perfectly blue ocean, I knew I was somewhere wonderfully unique, secluded and peaceful, so when choosing our wedding location, it seemed like the obvious place to celebrate. We wanted our friends and family to have a taste of our dream weekend in the Mayan Riviera paradise.” The couple worked with Molly Middleton and Maria Seremetis with Metier Events to bring their vision to life.

The wedding weekend began on Thursday night with a bonfire on the beach. For the first event of the weekend, Nicole chose a classic slip dress by Victoria Beckham in a custom shade of pink. “It felt so light and elegant on the beach,” she says. “My stylist Thomas Carter Phillips pulled a funky pair of silver Manolo Blahnik heels which were perfect for photos, but I ended up barefoot in the sand for most of the night – a running theme!” Indeed, Nicole notes that one of the most unique things about Hotel Esencia is that you can be barefoot everywhere and anywhere. “We wanted a destination that felt private, romantic and very relaxed,” she says. “The best part? We had a full moon for the entire weekend. It rose directly behind us on the beach on Thursday and felt very full circle from the proposal to now.”

On Friday, Nicole chose to wear a set by Danielle Frankel, one of her favorite bridal designers, for the rehearsal dinner and welcome party. “I ended up selecting this tulle set for my rehearsal dinner because it felt very appropriate for our setting,” the bride explains. “It was wonderfully unique and the delicate detail throughout was so dreamy.” She paired the set with ivory Manolo Blahnik heels, and her jewellery held a special, sentimental significance. “I always knew I wanted to incorporate the engagement ring my dad gave my mother into my wedding weekend,” Nicole adds. “She kept it after he passed away and my gorgeous sister Christine had the round stone set in a pave necklace for her wedding a year ago. I chose to wear it for my rehearsal dinner. It felt so special to have a piece of my dad with me on such an important night. “
