Ahead of the Vogue Vintage Sale on 29 March, co-hosted by Jorja Smith and Iris Law and presented by eBay, Vogue is celebrating all things pre-loved. From a perfectly worn leather jacket uncovered in a thrift store to a slogan tee sourced online, pre-loved items can (and should) be a key player in every modern wardrobe.

Scouring eBay is second nature for the Vogue editors, so when the opportunity arose to source a stellar line-up for a real-life Vogue Vintage Sale and an exclusive online storefront, the team were poised to find the best pre-loved gems out there. Armed with tips and tricks honed after many years of scrolling, we (virtually) trawled every corner of the UK in search of style treasures.

Accessories take centre stage in the edit, spotlighting eBay’s Authenticity Guarantee initiative, which ensures customers can buy safe in the knowledge that their item is legitimate. Expect Balenciaga’s Le City, multiple Dior Saddles and Fendi Baguettes, Gucci Jackies, and several trophy Louis Vuitton bags from the house’s collaborations with Stephen Sprouse and Takashi Murakami (the latter, rather aptly, joined forces once again with LV at the end of last year).

Speaking of revivals, there are original J’Adore Dior tees (a Noughties style hallmark popularised by Sex and the City, and reintroduced at Dior autumn/winter 2025), and two Chloé signatures, the Bracelet and the Paddington, which current creative director Chemena Kamali has brought back during her tenure. And in honour of Jonathan Anderson bowing out at Loewe, we got hold of a second-hand Puzzle – an accessory he first introduced in 2014.

As for shoes? Consider this your chance to snap up buzzy modern hits on the resale market – Alaïa’s crystal-swathed ballerinas and Adidas Taekwondos among them – in addition to sky-high Saint Laurent Bianca stilettos, horsebit-adorned Gucci loafers, Manolo Blahniks, Vivienne Westwood Pirate boots, Maison Margiela Tabis and Prada Flame heels.

Needless to say, procuring rare designer vintage was a non-negotiable, but unbranded goods loaded with nostalgic charm were also high on the agenda. Think: distressed leather and well-loved barn jackets, old Levi’s denim and plaid shirting. “Kate Moss for Topshop” was another key search term during the process, which led us to cropped military jackets, parkas and plenty of fringing. We focused our efforts on some of our favourite contemporary brands, too, including (but by no means limited to): Chopova Lowena, Martine Rose, Wales Bonner, Ahluwalia, Conner Ives, Simone Rocha, Christopher Kane and Molly Goddard, as well as Parisian favourite, Cop.Copine.

And that’s just a taste of what’s to come. All of the above – and much more! – will be available to buy via a virtual storefront, going live on 29 March and replenished weekly for a month. Sign up to the Vogue Shopping newsletter and IG broadcast channel for new drop alerts. Happy shopping!
